Emily Burchell has been working with horses at various competition and livery yards for the last 8 years, having graduated from Merrist Wood College. She bought her first horse at the age of 16, which she then schooled on to event, show jump around British Novice and then to elementary dressage. Emily works at British Sports Horses @ Blanchards Hill Farm as groom and youngstock assistant whilst also bringing on her own young horse that she imported from Holland.
Fiona Gair is a highly regarded trainer and coach who rides herself to Pre - St-George Level.
Fiona has over 20 years experience having run, managed and taught at many competition yards. She works from a grass roots level up to serious competition riders, regularly holding clinics throughout the area.
Charly Clothier provides training and coaching for horse and rider in Show Jumping from grass roots to competition level. Having worked with horses all her life and successfully competed different horses to International level Charly is excellent at understanding the horses psychology and working with you as a partnership to get the best out of the relationship and moving forward to competition success.
Becky McQuaid is our yard manager and resident rider. She graduated with a BA ( Hons) in Equine Management and has over 10 years working at various competition livery yards. She is riding and competing to medium level and has produced her own horse Jazz from a 5 year old and is currently competing at Dressage Novice and Elementary level and competed at the Winter Dressage Championships at Hartpury 2015.
Alice Ward founded Award Equine Physio in 2011. Alice is a chartered equine and rider physiotherapist who specialises in a hands - on approach to optimise the treatment after a thorough assessment of the equine, from young to old, from novice to advanced/ professional.
Alice is a member of IRVAP and ASSVAP which ensure high standards of physiotherapy skills within the equine world.
Alice has also created the HEATCOAT which is an affordable therapy rug designed with physiotherapy knowledge at the forefront and uses simple but effective concepts of hot and cold therapy in specific areas of the horse.
